How to minimize the risk of getting hurt playing sports!

Sports injuries happen everyday. Unfortunate circumstances happen and different situations cause chaos but what are some ways that can help prevent it? Sure you never know when or how you will or can get hurt but there are some ways to either avoid getting hurt, making an injury worse, or strengthening the body to be able to take more pressure. Here are some steps that can be taken to help prevent injuries in sports. By following each step provided should increase the chances of not getting injured. Seeing the Doctor which you must do to play sports for a “Physical” in which you must pass to even play. Building gradually! Dont test your body likes it been doing it forever. The best way to build is to gradually do more or last longer. Also dont be the tough guy and not wear the proper equipment as that is a big reason why injuries happen. Warming up and stretching is so crucial that young ages feel they dont need to. Stretching helps the muscles prepare instead of being tight and possibly pulling something and now your injured because you felt you didn’t need to. Using the right technique is crucial as well especially if you want to be the best. Having bad technique can also harm your body as well and taking breaks instead of overdoing your body is not smart. Breaks are needed just like drinking water. Also dont play when you’re injured its not the end of the world if you miss a game to let the body rest and become fully healthy again. Trust me!
